Yesterday, after attending Church, the Youth plus my mum visited Ate Te in Tenejero. She's been in a vehicle accident. Luckily, she survived and Thank God she's feeling alright...except that she broke her left leg & she has stitches on her face. But itz incredible that she not experiencing pain. That's how the power of God works, ey.
Anyweiz, after...Sherwin and I decided to go up Mount Samat. We've been planning it & thought it's the right time to go. (Wala na rin bagyo & the weather is fine) Achie Pep went along with us. Hmpt istorbo! Kiddin'. Hehe. (Atleast may nanlibre. Dinner pa sa ihaw-ihaw sa highway. Lolz!) It was fun especially when we went up the cross. I love the cool breeze blowin' in my face & hair. (Libre pa-blow dry! Haha. Try it!) That was it, we just hang out there...

Story
In the late 19th century, Dr. Gabriel Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman), a misunderstood monster hunter, is summoned to Transylvania to ferret out Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh) and kill him once and for all. When Van Helsing gets to the small village where the vampire was last spotted, he discovers he also must contend with Dracula's three seriously twisted vampire brides, Dracula's angry henchman/werewolf--and a lovely gypsy princess named Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale), who is hell-bent on eradicating Dracula and his bloodsucking kind for slaughtering her entire family. Oh, and let's not forget Frankenstein's Monster (Shuler Hensley), who holds the key to Dracula's evil master plan--something about releasing his minions of unborn, bat-like children from their goo-filled cocoons so they can wreck havoc on the world. Yuck. Sounds like our resident monster stomper and his sword-swinging gal pal have their work cut out for them. If Van Helsing does manage to kill all his monster foes, does that mean he's out of a job?

**We didn't catch Van Helsing in the movie so Sherwin finally saw it on DVD. We've been trying to buy one but the stores here didn't have one yet. I was sick then when he bought one, I still have to wait 'til I'm well enough. Haha. At last, we've been able to watch it the other night...well, not really...(pinahirapan muna kami talaga). Our DVD player couldn't read the CD! Dang! So Sherwin & I rushed into his house to get his player. Waahaha. Then, it does play but no sound! (Konting kalikot-kalikot...then hayun!) Whew! But...I got sleepy. Nyaha! We continue watching it juz yesterday. It's full of action & I wonder why the movie didn't click...(1 star) Other people just don't appreciate such a movie, perhaps. Hehe.**

Sick

Ugh, I hate coughs & colds. I got this from my achie Pep. I’m the last one who got it in this household. Hehe. I rarely got sick, but now….Waaaaaah! I just hate the feeling. I also got a little fever now.

I didn’t catch much sleep last night because of my coughing. But I did catch some this morning..a long one from 10am-12:30pm. Isn’t that long enough? Okay okay, it was just a nap. Hehe. I hafta wake up to take some lunch so I can take medicines, anyway. And besides I had a terrible dream…I always had those dreams. (bangungot) Scary. Frightening. Terrifying. Horrifying. (Teka, OA na yata…) But it was really scary, indeed. Can’t explain it. It’s like you’re awake but you cannot move. You’re in the same place like on my bed and aware of the surroundings in the room. Floating…Blurry…Can’t shout for help, etc. Truly can’t describe it. *sigh* But thank God I always get to fight it. I’M STILL ALIVE!!!

Sabi nila mahal mo din ako, kaya hinanap kita, yun pala may hinahanap kang iba, nung nagmakaawa ako, nagalit ka pa...haayyy, minsan na nga lang magmahal, pumapalpak pa...sorry ha, mahal kasi kita eh isipin mo na lang, parehas tayong umiyak, parehas tayong nasaktan, at parehas tayong nahirapan. pero bakit ganon? sa huli, sino lang yung natira? ako lang di ba?

Sabi nila "iwanan mo na". sabi ko "ayoko". sabi nila "okay pa?" sabi ko "ayos lang". then tinanong nila ko isang araw "kaya mo pa ba?" napaluha ako habang sinasabi, "mahal ko eh, kaya kakayanin ko".

Falling in love is the greatest and most wonderful gift. The sky is bluer and it seems that flowers are blooming everywhere. Indeed, what an exhilarating feeling it is to love and be loved in return. Here's the challenge though: when one loves, one dies. I don't mean the physical death, but death to oneself. You see, when you are in love, you place that person's needs above your own. Loving entails a lot of sacrifices. Personal preferences are thrown out the window in place of something that was mutually agreed on or sometimes one just chose to give up her own preference because love dictates it. I admire the brave ones who can do just that, make the decision to love and allow themselves to be swept by the"magic" and mystery of it all- To trust someone withtheir life and accept the commitment to be there for each other always, for better or for worse.

It's weird what one does all for the sake of love. It's sad to admit that there are also those who just love when it is convenient for them, when things are going smoothly, the way they wanted it, the way they planned it. Its true colors are uncovered when trials sets in. Will they hold on or will they give up?

And then you begin to ask yourself, why did I allow myself to fall in love? To be hurt? Why am I so stupid and stubborn? I should never let it happen again! Only to find yourself falling in love again? But then, who can really resist the call to love?

Aha, the call to love is inherent and real. It is part of our humanity, to respond to love that is freely given. In the first place, it was God who first loved us and called us to love in return? Though it was not easy loving foolish and stubborn humans, still, He loved us because it is His nature, because God is love.

I'm one of the brave ones and I'm proud of it. I loved and continue to love. For all its magic and mystery, the joys and the sorrows, yes, even the hurts and the pains. It was all worth it. I may have lost a part of me in the process once, but I also gain a lot of lessons. I can still laugh at life. I responded to God's call to love. It was a decision patterned after the love of God. I have no regrets! No one is to blame. It is my nature to love.
