Before. . .
Long ago
when the sun doesn't
seem to shine on me,
I wish upon the starry
night for someone to hold
me tight!

It never occurred to me
that love would give me a chance,
that love would make me
believe that there would be you!

I met you when I longed
to be loved, when I was searching
for another soul to fit mine,
& everything changed when you came!

Now on our 1st year anniversary,
I wish to tell you,
how much you mean to me!

Your love brought me
to different heights,
to different horizons...
discovering hope & happiness!

You have helped me
bring back my confidence...
You have shown me the real
meaning of love...
of what it is to love & to be loved!

I can never thank you
enough for loving me...
You are my everything!
